The Founder

Yovela Feodora was born on January 18, 2001 in Jakarta, Indonesia, and is an Indonesian classical pianist. She started taking piano lessons at the age of 4 in Jakarta - Indonesia. At around the age of 10, she took several private lessons during her school holidays and studied with several teachers from Indonesia, USA and Europe.

Feodora is an active pianist. She has performed as a soloist with the Yayasan Music Jakarta Orchestra. She has won virtually every major piano competition in Indonesia, including first prize at the prestigious 7th ASEAN INTERNATIONAL CONCERTO COMPETITION – Jakarta when she was 17 years old. During her career as a pianist, she has also won several international competitions including first prize at the Alberti Piano Competition, USA, third prize at the Pittsburgh International Piano Competition, USA and first prize at the 3rd Hong Kong International Music Festival. She also won first prize at the Grand Virtuoso International Piano Competition in Paris & London, the second prize at the 17th Concorso International Piano Competition Don Vincenzo Vitti-Italy, and many others,

Feodora performs in various concerts in her hometown of Jakarta, including Goethe-Institut Jakarta, Gedung Kesenian Jakarta, Erasmus Huis and others. Her concert appearance in the USA was in 2012 at Carnegie Hall as part of the Winner Gala Concert of the Alberti Piano Competition in the USA. In December 2015, she was awarded with a special invitation to perform at the Opera Bastille in Paris. In March 2016, she performed at the Winner Gala Concert of the Grand Virtuoso Piano Competition at the Royal Albert Hall in London. In 2017, she received another invitation to perform at Carnegie Hall as part of the Winners Gala Concert of the Pittsburgh International Piano Competition. She has also made several recordings of the works of J.S. Bach, L. v. Beethoven, C. Debussy and Frédéric Chopin with Art Sound Studio of Recording - Jakarta.

During her musical learning, Feodora studies with a great pianist Professor. Sven Birch who is the Professor of piano in Anton Bruckner University of Linz and Mozarteum University in Salzburg. She obtained her Master of Arts from Anton Bruckner University . She has participated in many Kaleidoscope concerts in Austria since 2018. Under the guidance of Prof. Sven Birch, She learns the ultimate playing techniques with beautiful artistical skills. Through the establishing of her music studio - Podium Artistic Music, she aims to be more advanced in presenting various classical piano works, raising her quality of teaching to both music educators and students in the studio as well as on the podium of concerts.
